About Leslie Simpson

About Me

I'm glad you're here.

I'm a Realtor here in Kootenai County, and I love working (and playing) in this area.

About Me

I have been selling homes since 2014. The path to becoming a Realtor was not linear.

After graduating from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington in 2008 (with a Sales Certificate & Marketing degree), I decided to hold off on entering the tumultuous job market. I stayed at UW for an extra year in order to complete a second degree in Psychology. From 2009 - 2012, I completed a Master of Education in School Counseling at Seattle Pacific University.

How did I go from a school counseling degree to becoming a Realtor? In 2014, I was approached by a builder about getting my license and selling new homes in one of their communities. With my sales background, I jumped at the opportunity! I sold new construction homes for five years and learned as much as I could about the construction process, design, and marketing. In 2019, I dove into the existing home market and haven't looked back.
